S&A Cherokee Wins Three Sir Walter Raleigh Awards from RPRS

Cary, N.C., Sept. 24, 2012 – S&A Cherokee, a full-service communications firm, has received three 2012 Sir Walter Raleigh Awards for Excellence in Communication from the Raleigh Public Relations Society (RPRS). The awards were presented Sept. 11 at a banquet, emceed by Shae Crisson of ABC11 WTVD, at the Cardinal Club in downtown Raleigh.

The Sir Walter Raleigh Awards is a showcase of exemplary work by public relations and communication professionals throughout North Carolina. This annual competition recognizes and honors projects that have achieved excellence in a variety of categories, as judged by an independent panel of judges. This year’s awards were judged by members of the Sacramento Public Relations Association.

S&A Cherokee earned awards in all three categories in which it submitted entries, including:

Opinion/Feature Writing – Netsertive Article for Dental Entrepreneur Magazine

Magazine – Cary Magazine

Promotional Campaign – Band Together NC

Earlier this year, the firm won six InSpire Awards from the North Carolina Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (NCPRSA), two Hermes Creative Awards and two Apex Awards for Publication Excellence. Over the past six years, S&A Cherokee has won more than 50 awards for public relations, communications, publishing, graphic design, photography, employee work environment and company growth.
