S&A Cherokee’s Cary Magazine Wins APEX 2012 Award for Publication Excellence

Cary, N.C., July 23, 2012 — S&A Cherokee, a full-service communications firm, has now won APEX Awards for four consecutive years. It received an APEX 2012 Award in the category of Magazines and Journals – Print over 32 Pages for the July/August 2011 edition of Cary Magazine with Tara Croft and Emily Uhland as co-editors. S&A Cherokee is the publisher of Cary Magazine.
Now in its 24th year, The APEX Award program is an international competition sponsored by Communication Concepts, Inc. recognizing excellence in publications work by professional communicators.
The APEX 2012 Awards competition drew more than 3,400 entries in 11 major categories and 130 subcategories. The awards are based on excellence in graphic design, editorial content and the success of the entry in achieving overall communications excellence.
