The Sunrock Group names S&A Communications as agency of record

The Sunrock Group, a Raleigh-based supplier of construction materials and provider of contracting services, has named S&A Communications as its agency of record. S&A will provide integrated marketing services to the company.

The Sunrock Group started in Buffalo, New York, following World War II when the Pfohl brothers entered the sand and gravel business. Over the years the privately held, family-run operation expanded throughout Western New York as a premier producer of crushed stone, sand, gravel and hot mix asphalt products.

Under the leadership of second-generation owner Bryan Pfohl, Sunrock expanded into North Carolina in 1985 and has continued steady growth in the state. With headquarters in Raleigh, the company has operations in Butner, Kittrell, Woodsdale, Raleigh, Wake Forest, Durham and Zebulon.
