S&A Cherokee Announces New Hires Amanda Raxlin and Dylan Gilroy

S&A Cherokee, an award-winning full-service integrated communications company, is pleased to announce the addition of two new employees, Dylan Gilroy and Amanda Raxlin.
Gilroy joins the design team as junior webmaster. In this role, he will develop coding, websites, emails and graphics. Gilroy graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a degree in graphic design. He previously served as a Web developer for Project Powering a Nation. Gilroy’s Web development for the documentary “Powering a Nation: 100 Gallons” was nominated for a News & Documentary Emmy Award.
Raxlin joins the public relations team as junior account executive. In this role, she will work on client accounts, write content, and manage social media accounts. She graduated from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and double majored in communication studies and English. In addition, she earned a professional writing certificate. Prior to joining S&A Cherokee, Raxlin served as an event planning and social media intern for Make-A-Wish Eastern North Carolina. While in Wilmington, she wrote for Wrightsville Beach Magazine. She also serves as a volunteer public relations manager for Alley Cats and Angels of North Carolina.
